02 / YOUR FLOOR
Do you clean it with a mop?
A robot can too.
The Mama102 label says: “Suitable for all types of water-resistant floors”. A mopping robot mops damp, like a well-wrung mop — it does not flood the floor with water.
Tiles and porcelain tiles
Yes — tiles and porcelain tiles are water-resistant: clean them with a robot and Mama102 as you would with a damp mop. Measure the dose in millilitres: too much liquid leaves streaks.
Vinyl and laminate
Yes — if your laminate flooring is water-resistant and you clean it with a damp mop, a robot with Mama102 can do that too. Choose a low water setting on the robot if it has that adjustment.
Wood and parquet
Yes — if the parquet is protected with varnish or oil and you clean it with a damp mop. If the robot has an adjustment, choose a low water setting. Do not wet-clean unprotected wood: water soaks into it.
Natural stone
Yes — if the stone is sealed and you clean it with a damp mop. If the robot has an adjustment, choose a low water setting, and the first time, wipe an inconspicuous area with the solution (10 ml per 200 ml of water).
I do not know what floor this is
A simple rule: if you clean this floor with a damp mop without affecting it, it tolerates water — a robot with Mama102 can do that too. If you do not wet-clean it, a robot should not either.
