03 / HOW TO USE
Measure the liquid.
Pour into the right place.
A robot may have a water tank inside it, a water tank in the dock or a separate solution container. Each has its own simple answer.
Find your tank.
Enter the model or open the dock lid and look inside. The floor must be water-resistant — if you clean it with a damp mop, a robot can do that too.
Which tank do you have? →Measure in millilitres.
Use a measuring cup. We do not give a number of capfuls because the cap’s capacity as a measure has not been confirmed.
Pour into the right place.
Robot water tank: 10 ml per 200 ml of water (label). Dock clean-water tank: the same proportion, 10 ml for every 200 ml (our tip). Dock solution container: undiluted liquid; the dock doses automatically (our tip; the robot manufacturer recommends its own liquid in the manual). We give no dose for a hand mop, bucket or spray bottle.
Foam or streaks? Stop.
If there is foam, streaks or concerning device behaviour, stop using the liquid and write to us.

DOSE FROM THE LABEL · ROBOT TANK
Add 10 ml of liquid to 200 ml of water in the robot’s tank. Excessive detergent may cause streaks.
This dose from the label applies to the tank in the robot. The label gives no dose for the dock water tank or the dock solution container — find our tips alongside your robot.
MAMA MARGARET TIP
Is your tank smaller than 200 ml? Keep the same proportion: 5 ml of liquid per 100 ml of water.
Robot tank dose and warnings: the Mama’s RoboClean (Mama102) label. Dock water tank and dock solution container: Mama Margaret tips outside the label. Owner tips, when available, will be described separately from the brand’s recommendations.
