- Docking station
The docking station is where the robot returns to charge. Depending on its equipment, it may also handle water, mops or dust emptying.

A replaceable cartridge is a liquid container designed to be replaced as a whole.
See: Replaceable liquid cartridge →- Plumbed dock
A plumbed dock draws water directly from the plumbing.

This is a tank inside the robot that supplies water to the mopping system.
See: Water tank in the robot →- Mop (pads, rotating mops, roller)
The mop is the element that wipes the floor. It may take the form of a pad, rotating pads or a roller.
See: Mop (pads, rotating mops, roller) →- Main brush
